The principle of powers' separation: The history and the present

The paper has considered the history and the present state of the principle of powers' separation. The author has analyzed its realization in different countries. The modern scientific approaches to this principle have been investigated. The peculiarities of the principle realization in the modern Russia have been considered as well.
